I've been walking with pain and a cane for three years due to the pain in my right hip. I've heard horror stories from others about their bad experiences with hip operations and therefore I was too afraid to get my hip replacement. As pain is a great motivator, I finally caved-in and conducted my due diligence in researching for the best orthopedic hip surgeon in Florida, and I kept coming across Dr. Chan's name. Based on my research, I determined that Dr. Chan was the best surgeon that I could see. Dr. Chan conducted my hip replacement, along with his outstanding team, and all went excellent! A miracle!! I was in PT the day after surgery and within a few weeks I was walking without pain and a cane! My PT lasted for about two months. I walked with a cane and lived with so much pain, putting more stress on my "good leg" and other joints, and was greatly inconvenienced longer than necessary, due to fear. My advice to those who have hip pain is to make an appointment with Dr. Chan ASAP! Don't wait another minute. Whether you need surgery or not, Dr. Chan is the doctor you need to see! I am so grateful for Dr. Chan!!
