An unexpectedly amazing knee surgery experience with Dr Chan and the in-house PT. Before surgery I arranged for round the clock aides and purchased a bedside commode in anticipation of being bed-ridden for some time after surgery. But to my surprise I was able to walk immediately after surgery. Ok. Granted I had been given nerve blockers and oxycodone. But even when the nerve blocker wore off after 48 hours I was still able to manage on my own. Dismissed the aides after 2 days, stored the commode in the locker, and just got on with my life. Yes, the knee was swollen and there was some minor pain. But with continuous icing, I wasn't incapacitated at all. I even drove myself to PT a week after surgery. The physical therapists were awesome.

Four weeks after surgery I was back to the gym. Six weeks after surgery I was given a clean bill of health by Dr Chan. Had I known it was going to be this easy, I'd have done the surgery sooner.

    Highly recommend this amazing Dr
